1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MentionGap (“the Service”), operated by MentionGap (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MentionGap is a SaaS platform that helps businesses discover articles, roundups, comparison pages, and “best of” lists where their competitors are mentioned but they are not. The Service includes article discovery, contact intelligence, email draft generation, and weekly digest notifications.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

MentionGap offers paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Prices are listed in USD and do not include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment. Refund requests after this period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at support@mentiongap.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Service's source code
• Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or abusive means
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by MentionGap and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Your data remains yours; we claim no ownership over content you provide.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
